2020年3月5日 – On a recent trip to Spokane for a High School Counselor Luncheon, recent Perry Tech Precision Machining & Manufacturing program graduate Evan Halverson had the chance to attend and connect with 10 area high schools counselors to share his story of how attending Perry has benefitted him.
Currently, Halverson splits the majority of his time at work between a Blanchard grinder, HAAS CNC lathe machines and most notably two HAAS VF-5 CNC machines. “Having a recent graduate who was local to the Spokane area be able to demonstrate how students can come to Perry, earn their certificate of program completion and return home ready to contribute to their local economy was the best situation I could have asked for,” stated Raúl Luna, Associate Director of 就业服务 & Admissions. Luna continued, “It was my hope that we could educate the high school counselors who might not have been familiar with Perry on how we are able to provide support, resources and skills to make our students/graduates highly sought after while commanding competitive wages in their home town if they choose to return.”
